( it's not quite a walk of shame, but eve is a little bit embarrassed that she isn't especially dexterous enough to pull off last night's party dress. it's somewhat early in the morning at least and she was able to wash up a little before expecting a new gentleman caller.
she's making herself an iced coffee while she waits for a very helpful set of hands to greet her at her balcony. )
[ The very helpful set of hands (along with the rest of him) arrives in her balcony in a burst of flames. Good thing most of his clothes are fireproof now. Said clothes are a form-fitting white tank top and a pair of jeans, by the way.
Johnny greets her with a grin. ] Guess I deserve a hug for making it all the way here in record time.
​​(​ eve sets her glittery coffee thermos down and squeals when she sees him coming through the glass. she pushes the door open and waves, watching him touch down with a gleeful grin. ​)

​​(​ eve hops onto her toes and throws her arms around johnny. she has way too much energy for someone who was up all night, but she wouldn't be eve otherwise. ​)
[ Clark has a routine. He gets up, he showers, he gets dressed and then the most immediate next step is coffee. He would have grabbed some from home before work today but his coffee machine appeared to be broken this morning when he tried to make it. Inconvenient.
So here he is, in a crowded coffee shop. It's so crowded that as soon as he grabs his coffee, he's being jostled on his way to the cream and sugar. Someone bumps into him, which in turn makes him bump into the person next to him. ]
​​(​ eve doesn't have a routine since she decided to live fabulously. being on lex luthor's arm provided her with some notoriety and brand deals. the money and attention hadn't exactly waned since she decided saving her ass and the lives of others via the daily planet was more important. and, of course, hanging with jimmy.
she's thankfully still waiting on her tahini toasted seame latte when a very tall drink of water bumps into her. eve easily scoots back, hoping to keep her blue trench coat stain-free ​)

​​(​ she grins up at the other patron before purses her lips. ​) Hey, you look soooo familiar.
[ For a brief moment Clark's eyes widen in recognition before he fixes a cooler, less alarmed look on her. Of all the people to run into Lex-slash-Jimmy's on again off again girlfriend was not at the top of his list.]
Ahh! O-oh good, I'd hate to scald someone so early in the morning. [ He clears his throat, peering at her through his glasses. ] Familiar? Oh, I don't think so, I think I'd remember if I met someone like you before.
( unfortunately, today she and jimmy were off because he said he "needed space" - whatever the hell that meant after not speaking for forever. eve flashes the stranger the brightest smile after thanking the barista for her iced latte.
she flutters her eyelashes as she takes a sip. )
That's is so sweet of you to say. I do think that I have seen you before! I'm Eve. ( not one for handshakes, she throws her hand up in a peace sign and a wink. )
Oh god! That was horrible! ( eve laments, clutching her drink to her chest. ) I mean, we had to, but I was, like, dying, not going out and seeing people.
( it did, at least, get her to boost her social media activity - just like everyone else in the world. )
